The Countryside

the-countryside

The farm straddles Icknield Street, formerly known as Ryknield Street, an important Roman road crossing through the area of modern Birmingham and up through Sutton Park. This quiet road runs at right angles and underneath the modern M42 and attracts many walkers and horse riders, as well as some fast motorcyclists.

Visiting groups will have the opportunity to walk on a public footpath as well as across Peter’s private fields to a stunning landscape view on Swan Hill overlooking the M42. On a clear day we can see across Worcestershire to the Malvern Hills and across Warwickshire as far as the Cotswolds.
